Ponnam Prabhakar Celebrates Rahul Gandhi's Birthday with Student Outreach at Hyderabad School

Telangana's Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar led a birthday tribute to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Friday, using the occasion to engage with students at the venerable Allia Government School in Abids, Hyderabad.

The event featured the distribution of fruits, books, and writing pens to the school's student body. Prabhakar served as the chief guest and spent time interacting directly with students throughout the programme.

In his remarks, the minister characterized Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra as an initiative undertaken to safeguard democratic institutions and protect constitutional principles. He drew connections between Gandhi's public engagement and his stated commitment to democratic values and constitutional governance.

The minister used the platform to encourage students to cultivate understanding of democratic principles and constitutional values. He stressed the importance of recognizing their own rights and responsibilities as citizens, pointing to Gandhi's career as an exemplar of dedication to these ideals.

Prabhakar expressed satisfaction at holding the celebration at the historic school, noting its significance as an educational institution. The event drew participation from Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Yadav, Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Eravathri Anil, school administration, and various Congress party members.
