CM Revanth Reddy Prioritises Accelerated Land Acquisition for Palamuru-Rangareddy Irrigation Project

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has set an urgent timeline for accelerating land acquisition processes tied to the Palamuru-Rangareddy irrigation project, alongside similar initiatives across the undivided Mahabubnagar district.
During a meeting convened at the MCR HRD Institute with district ministers and MLAs, the Chief Minister outlined a comprehensive strategy to streamline irrigation project implementation in the region. He underscored the government's commitment to disbursing funds without delay for all land acquisition activities and pledged to eliminate bottlenecks in payment processing related to these undertakings.
The Chief Minister further announced that the state administration stands prepared to settle outstanding liabilities associated with irrigation ventures across the undivided Palamuru district.
Regular Monitoring Framework Established
Revanth Reddy tasked district-level ministers with instituting periodic progress assessments involving district officials to track irrigation project advancement throughout the undivided Palamuru district. He emphasised the necessity of maintaining consistent oversight of project milestones and timelines.
The gathering included Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari, alongside Government Whip Palamuru and MLAs Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, G. Madhusudhan Reddy, Megha Reddy, Dr Rajesh Reddy, Dr Vamshi Krishna, and Veerlapally Shankar. Senior officials including Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao and Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy were also present during the deliberations.
