OnePlus Launches Pad 4 Tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Processor

OnePlus has unveiled the Pad 4, a new flagship tablet designed to cater to professionals, content creators, and multitasking users seeking powerful computing capabilities in a portable device.

The tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. According to the company, this configuration delivers up to 42% higher performance than its predecessor, with AnTuTu benchmark scores reaching approximately 4.1 million. The device holds the distinction of being OnePlus's most powerful tablet offering to date.

The Pad 4 sports a 13.2-inch 3.4K display with 315 pixels per inch density, Dolby Vision support, and 12-bit colour depth. The screen offers professional-grade colour accuracy and can reach up to 1000 nits of brightness in high brightness mode. A 144Hz refresh rate and up to 540Hz touch sampling rate ensure smooth scrolling and responsive interactions. The display features a 7:5 ReadFit ratio and occupies 89.4% of the device's front surface.

To manage thermal loads during intensive tasks, the tablet incorporates an advanced Cryo-velocity Cooling System featuring a 40,760mm² vapour chamber and upgraded graphite layers, enabling sustained performance during gaming, video editing, and extended multitasking sessions.

The device houses a 13,380mAh battery—the largest ever fitted to a OnePlus tablet—capable of delivering up to 54 days of standby time, 20 hours of video playback, or up to 7 hours of continuous gaming. The tablet supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology to minimize charging time.

The Pad 4 runs OxygenOS 16, which provides enhanced multitasking capabilities including flexible app windows, drag-and-drop file management, OTG support, second-screen functionality, and keyboard and mouse sharing for hybrid workflows. OnePlus AI features include AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, AI Recorder, AI Clear Call, and creative tools such as AI Painter.

The tablet measures just 5.94mm in thickness and weighs 672 grams, combining portability with a premium metal unibody design. It will be available in two colour options: Dune Glow and Sage Mist. An eight-speaker configuration comprising four woofers and four tweeters with spatial audio support delivers immersive sound. The device is compatible with the OnePlus Stylo Pro and an upcoming smart keyboard accessory.

The Pad 4 begins at INR 54,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, while the top-tier 12GB+512GB variant is priced at INR 59,999. Both prices include applicable bank offers and discounts of up to INR 5,000. Sales commenced on May 5, 2026.

As a launch promotion, customers purchasing the tablet will receive the OnePlus Stylo Pro—valued at INR 5,499—complimentary for a limited period. Additionally, buyers can avail themselves of up to six months of interest-free instalments.
