The OnePlus Nord CE6 has officially arrived in India, with open sales commencing on May 8, 2026, at noon IST. The mid-range flagship from the global technology firm offers two storage configurations—8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB—with the entry-level variant priced at INR 27,999 after applicable discounts.

Customers can purchase the device exclusively as 'Amazon Specials' through Amazon.in, oneplus.in, and the OnePlus Store App, alongside offline availability at OnePlus Experience Stores and authorized retail partners. The Nord CE6 comes in three color options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.

Performance and Display

At the heart of the Nord CE6 lies the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 dual-chip architecture, engineered to deliver consistent performance and smooth gameplay at up to 144 FPS in popular titles. A dedicated Touch Reflex Chip enables ultra-fast touch response at 3200Hz, while the 6-axis gyroscope and X-axis linear motor provide precision and haptic feedback comparable to gaming consoles. An advanced vapor chamber cooling system spanning over 33,000 mm² maintains thermal stability during extended usage sessions.

The device features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED Sunburst HDR display with a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering fluid visuals with 1800 nits of peak brightness for outdoor visibility. The screen incorporates 3840Hz PWM dimming and hardware-level blue light filtering for eye comfort during prolonged viewing. Dual stereo speakers deliver 300% ultra volume, while Aqua Touch 2.0 technology ensures responsiveness even with wet or sweaty fingers.

Battery and Charging

A substantial 8000mAh battery provides over 2.5 days of typical usage. The Nord CE6 supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, All-Scenario Bypass Charging, and 27W wired reverse charging capabilities. A mere 10-minute charge session can provide enough power for OnePlus Nord Buds Pro 4 to deliver up to 12 hours of Spotify playback. The Battery Health Engine optimizes charging cycles to maintain reliability even after six years of daily use.

Camera System

Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera featuring dual-axis optical image stabilization and a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus and a 90-degree wide-angle field of view. Both cameras support 4K video recording. The device integrates several AI-powered photography tools including AI Portrait Glow, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Eraser for streamlined post-processing.

Software and Durability

Running OxygenOS 16, the Nord CE6 incorporates Google Gemini and OnePlus AI tools to enhance productivity and creative workflows. Features such as Circle to Search and Gemini Live simplify routine tasks.

Durability receives significant emphasis, with the Nord CE6 earning IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings alongside MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. Crystal Guard Glass provides additional protection, allowing the device to withstand dust ingress, water immersion, high-pressure jets, and harsh environmental conditions. The design integrates a dynamic 3D luminous border that balances rugged construction with aesthetic appeal.
