Nutrition NXT Launches Premium Feline Food Range and Functional Supplements for Indian Pet Market

Hyderabad — Nutrition NXT, a science-focused startup in the pet care space, has unveiled its latest product line featuring premium feline nutrition formulations and a specialized supplement range for canines.

The debut offering includes PARENT™ Kitten and Adult Food for cats, developed alongside BONUS, a line of functional soft chew treats designed for dogs. Both product ranges target the nutritional requirements of pets at different life stages.

The feline lineup comprises two formulations: a Tuna-flavoured Kitten formula featuring high bioavailable protein for developmental growth and goat milk, and an Adult formula for cats aged one year and older combining ocean fish and chicken flavours. The adult variant emphasizes sustained vitality and cardiovascular support through taurine supplementation, while high fibre content helps minimize hairball issues and maintains optimal urinary pH levels.

The BONUS supplement line offers multiple targeted variants addressing specific canine health concerns. These include options focused on digestive wellness, skin and coat quality, joint and hip mobility, comprehensive multivitamin support, and calcium-enriched bone formulations. The treats are formulated to simplify supplementation while promoting immune function and skeletal strength.

Nutrition NXT's formulation approach combines expertise from veterinary professionals and researchers based in both the United States and India, drawing on partnerships with leading global research institutions. The company emphasizes adapting international nutritional science to suit India's climatic conditions.

According to founder and CEO Praharsha Cherukury, the company recognizes a significant market gap. "India currently lacks sufficient products tailored to specific life stages in pet development. Our Research and Development efforts are directed at filling this void through scientifically rigorous formulations," Cherukury stated.

All formulations comply with AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) standards, meeting international benchmarks for complete and balanced nutrition. Dr Venkata Dharmendra Boppana, Co-founder and Chief Mentor, brings credentials including a PhD in veterinary science and over 25 years of research experience in veterinary immunology, overseeing the company's commitment to rigorous nutritional standards.

The launch arrives as India's pet care market experiences substantial expansion. Industry projections indicate the overall pet products market will reach approximately $8.6 billion by 2027, with the sector expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 5.24%. The Pet Food and Treats segment specifically is anticipated to reach market valuation near $2.52 billion during this period.

Within its first year of operations, Nutrition NXT has established a presence across five major metropolitan regions: Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The company plans to further strengthen its manufacturing capabilities with a state-of-the-art facility in Wargal, Telangana, expected to commence operations by fiscal year 2027.
