Hyderabad: The National Students' Union of India convened its state executive session at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, placing the NEET examination leak at the centre of discussions amid growing national alarm over the matter.

The gathering saw TPCC vice-president M.A. Faheem, who serves as NSUI's organisational in-charge, participate as the chief guest. At the meeting, party representatives voiced strong disapproval of events jeopardising student prospects and pressed the Union government to respond urgently to allegations of examination mismanagement.

Beyond the NEET controversy, the assembly devoted considerable attention to preparations surrounding NSUI national president Vinod Jakar's scheduled arrival in Telangana on May 22. Organisers emphasised the importance of mobilising substantial public participation to mark the occasion.

The student wing outlined plans to stage a torch march as part of its campaign against the NEET paper leak. During the proposed agitation, the organisation intends to lodge formal complaints with both the Governor and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

M.A. Faheem instructed party cadres to intensify their engagement with student-related grievances throughout Telangana. He called on district coordinators and ground-level workers to strengthen their initiatives centred on student interests and educational matters.

The meeting, attended by NSUI state president Venkataswamy, district heads, regional officials and rank-and-file members, reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to championing student rights and examination integrity. Participants concluded by pledging coordinated action and enhanced student engagement across the state.
