NSUI Calls for CBI Investigation Into NEET Examination Leak

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has intensified pressure on the Central government over recurring examination security breaches, specifically targeting the NEET paper leak controversy.
At a press conference held at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday, NSUI leaders leveled sharp criticism at the Union administration for what they characterize as systemic failures in examination management. Fahim, who serves as PCC Vice President and NSUI in-charge, spearheaded the demands during the gathering.
Among the key demands presented was an immediate Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry into the paper leak allegations. Fahim also called for the removal of the NTA chairman from his position and sought the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the matter.
The NSUI leadership contended that successive examination breaches have undermined the integrity of India's education system. They pointed to instances occurring in 2016, 2021, 2024, and 2026 as evidence of a pattern of negligence, asserting that no official accountability has followed these incidents.
Fahim drew a connection between these examination irregularities and the government's stated development agenda, arguing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for "Viksit Bharat" cannot be realized when students encounter repeated examination compromises.
The NSUI delegation highlighted that paper leaks have surfaced across multiple BJP-governed states, including Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Uttarakhand. They further urged the Prime Minister to address the examination leak crisis during his "Mann Ki Baat" radio programme.
The gathering also saw NSUI state president Venkat Swamy and executive committee members receive guidance on organizational priorities and upcoming initiatives. The proceedings concluded with reiteration of demands for stringent action against officials implicated in the examination leak matter.
