BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Visit Telangana for Three-Day Organisational Drive

Hyderabad: The BJP's national president Nitin Nabin will embark on a three-day organisational visit to Telangana starting June 28, party officials announced on Friday. The tour underscores the national leadership's commitment to bolstering the BJP's ground-level presence in the state, according to N. Ramchander Rao, the state party president.

Speaking at the BJP state headquarters, Ramchander Rao outlined the strategic intent behind the visit. The party is working to broaden its organisational footprint with the ultimate goal of bringing the BJP to power in Telangana, he said, emphasizing that New Delhi has prioritized the state in its expansion plans.

Detailed Schedule of Activities

The visit will feature a series of high-level engagements across the state. Nitin Nabin will virtually open new BJP district offices from the party's facility in Ranga Reddy district. He is also scheduled to address booth presidents from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area at the Hyderabad Exhibition Grounds.

A significant portion of the tour will involve meetings with the party's parliamentary representatives, state legislators, and members of the state legislative council at the state party office. The second day of the visit will take Nitin Nabin to Warangal, where he will meet with student groups, tribal communities, and party workers.

The tour will wrap up with a state working committee meeting at Ghatkesar before the national president returns to New Delhi. Party officials stressed that the visit is purely organisational in nature and carries no connection to electoral activities.

Political Remarks During Announcement

At the press conference, Ramchander Rao launched a critique of AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and the Congress party, contending that both have been circulating false information regarding citizenship and voter registration procedures.

Citing a ruling from the Bombay High Court, Ramchander Rao reiterated that a passport serves as a travel document and does not constitute conclusive proof of citizenship status. He further asserted that voting rights are restricted to Indian citizens alone and accused both parties of muddying the waters around voter registration protocols.

The announcement was attended by several senior party figures, including state general secretary Virender Goud, state treasurer Devaki Vasudeva Rao, and state media in-charge and chief spokesperson N.V. Subhash, among other party leaders.
