Nissan India Achieves 75% Sales Surge in April as GRAVITE Gains Traction

Nissan Motor India has posted impressive sales figures for April 2026, marking a strong beginning to the financial year with a 75% year-on-year surge in its domestic market performance.

The automaker moved 5,388 units in total during the month, comprising 3,203 units sold within India and 2,185 units exported to overseas markets. This performance underscores the company's expanding footprint in India's competitive automotive landscape.

The growth trajectory has been bolstered significantly by the launch of the All-New Nissan GRAVITE, which has resonated strongly with Indian buyers. The seven-seat modular configuration, combined with its comfort features and practical design for daily use, has established the GRAVITE as a key revenue driver for the company. Running parallel to this success, the New Nissan Magnite continues to solidify the brand's standing within the compact SUV category.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director at Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., expressed optimism about the company's trajectory. "The enthusiastic reception we've received at the start of this financial year is deeply encouraging," he stated. "The exceptional customer enthusiasm for the All-New Nissan GRAVITE demonstrates that our strategy of developing vehicles tailored to what Indian consumers are seeking is working effectively. Combined with the New Nissan Magnite's sustained performance, this validates our confidence in the market as we roll out additional models and expand our dealership presence nationwide during the current fiscal."

The company intends to maintain its forward momentum through continued emphasis on customer-focused development, network expansion, and strengthened market penetration. With a healthy pipeline of upcoming launches and a commitment to elevating customer satisfaction, Nissan is positioned to extend its growth narrative across India's automotive sector.
