Modi Hailed as "Ray of Hope" for Global Peace at Hyderabad Student Conference

Hyderabad: At the Glow Peace International Peace Conference held at Delhi Public School in Nacharam on Saturday, Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao characterized Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world's "only ray of hope" for addressing global conflicts through peaceful dialogue.
Addressing an audience comprising students, parents, educators, and spiritual leaders, Rao emphasised that multiple nations are currently enduring prolonged conflict and contended that conversation and negotiation represent the only viable route to sustainable peace. He cautioned against the perils of nuclear confrontation, drawing parallels to the catastrophic consequences of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Rao underscored that peace must first take root at the grassroots level—within families, educational institutions, and local communities—before extending to the international arena. He commended the conference organisers for their commitment to engaging young people in peace-building activities.
In a significant development, Rao revealed plans to dispatch nearly one lakh postcards to Prime Minister Modi, with approximately 20,000 penned by students from Delhi Public School, Nacharam, calling upon him to lead global efforts for peace. The BJP leader expressed optimism that this initiative would evolve into a comprehensive movement spanning the nation and beyond, centred on promoting peaceful resolution and dialogue.
Rao highlighted the transformative potential of youth in advancing peace, noting that students could serve as ambassadors for understanding and cooperation within their communities and society at large.
