Hyderabad — The mortal remains of Gadusu Navya, a student from Nalgonda, are expected to arrive at Shamshabad International Airport early Friday following her death in a road accident in the United States.
Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has stepped in to assist the grieving family. The State government arranged for the repatriation of the remains at its own cost after the Minister's intervention.
Navya hailed from Cheruvugattu village in Narketpally mandal of Nalgonda district. She was the daughter of Gadusu Srinivas Reddy and Shobha. The student had gone to the United States to pursue higher education, with plans to support her family after completing her Master's degree.

He coordinated with senior State officials, the Ministry of External Affairs, representatives from TANA (Telugu Association of North America), and the San Francisco Consulate General's office.
The Minister pledged that the State government would continue providing support to the family during this challenging time.
In response to the Minister's appeal for assistance, TANA members mobilized nearly ₹70 lakh to help Navya's family. Komatireddy praised the contribution, noting that it demonstrated the strong bonds of community solidarity among Telugu people living abroad.
The Minister also expressed gratitude to Sreekar Reddy, the Consul General in San Francisco, for coordinating with the Chicago Embassy to accelerate the repatriation process. He additionally acknowledged the efforts of TANA Team Square co-chairman Chiranjeevi Galla and others who supported the bereaved family.
