Hyderabad Advocate Dies Following Car Attack; Murder Case Registered

Hyderabad law enforcement has initiated a murder investigation following the death of advocate Khaja Moizuddin, who was fatally struck by a vehicle near Masab Tank on Saturday morning.
The incident unfolded as Moizuddin was approaching his parked car outside his residence when a vehicle allegedly struck him forcefully from behind before departing the scene. Community members and family rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his severe injuries during treatment.
Footage from surveillance cameras related to the incident subsequently circulated on social media platforms. Authorities initially classified the matter as a hit-and-run incident but upgraded the case to murder after evaluating preliminary investigative findings.
Detectives have assembled task forces to identify the perpetrator, with ongoing efforts focused on examining CCTV recordings and gathering evidence from the surrounding vicinity.
The advocate's family has made serious allegations against Alam Khan, a member of the ruling party. Moizuddin's son Farhan stated that his father had been involved in numerous legal proceedings concerning alleged encroachments on Waqf Board property. Farhan further disclosed that the advocate had previously survived five separate attacks and received threats approximately half a year prior to the fatal incident.
Following the attack, Farhan appealed to the Telangana administration to extend security measures to his family. The investigation proceeded throughout Saturday as authorities worked to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi visited the advocate's residence to express condolences to the grieving family. Owaisi called for the immediate apprehension of those responsible for the attack and the individual allegedly orchestrating the crime.
