Maruti Suzuki India Limited has unveiled its latest round of startup partnerships, bringing on board six innovative companies to develop next-generation technology solutions. The firms—Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex—emerge from the 10th Cohort of the automaker's Accelerator Program and have secured funding for Proof of Concept projects.

The collaborative initiatives will focus on artificial intelligence and technology-enabled approaches to address key operational challenges. Among the priority areas are strengthening workplace safety protocols, streamlining the product design pipeline, establishing robust material tracking systems, and refining the customer experience through dealership channels.

According to Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the partnership reflects the company's strategic direction. "As our operations continue to expand, these co-created solutions will strengthen safety standards across our manufacturing facilities, compress product design and development timelines, enhance material traceability aligned with our sustainability objectives, and equip our dealer networks with better tools for customer interactions," he stated.

Takeuchi further emphasized the company's commitment to India's startup ecosystem. "Maruti Suzuki remains dedicated to advancing the Government of India's 'Startup India' mission through structured innovation programs. We provide participating startups with mentorship, facility access, and real-world engagement opportunities with our operational teams. This arrangement benefits both parties—startups gain practical insights to refine and scale their solutions, while we gain access to cutting-edge innovations that support our digital transformation and future readiness."

The six startups will tackle distinct challenges across Maruti Suzuki's value chain. Goat Robotics will develop systems for safe and efficient material handling within manufacturing environments. SheerDrive is creating a real-time pricing platform for used vehicles linked to market dynamics. Schijnenn Digital will work on reducing the timeframe for product design and development cycles. GenbaNEXT will establish material traceability mechanisms to support circular economy initiatives. Swayatt Drishtigochar will implement predictive maintenance systems and safety protocols for industrial equipment. Swiftex will design a sales support platform to enable dealer representatives to engage customers more effectively.
