Bhatti Vikramarka Reviews Mahila Shakti Canteen at TGSPDCL Headquarters

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited the newly inaugurated Mahila Shakti Canteen at TGSPDCL headquarters in Mint Compound on Thursday to examine the facilities and infrastructure available to employees.

During the inspection, Bhatti Vikramarka met with TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil to understand the costs involved in establishing the facility. He also assessed the various amenities and services being offered to both staff and visitors at the premises.

The Deputy Chief Minister outlined the government's vision for the Mahila Shakti Canteen programme, explaining that it aims to foster economic independence for women self-help groups while simultaneously guaranteeing access to safe, clean food for the workforce.

Bhatti Vikramarka engaged with those running the canteen operations and urged them to maintain high standards of food quality and taste while keeping prices within reach of ordinary employees and visitors. He emphasised the importance of consistently delivering wholesome, hygienic meals and beverages at competitive rates. The Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the menu and pricing information available at the venue.

According to Bhatti Vikramarka, such schemes generate meaningful employment prospects for women while simultaneously enhancing the working environment for government staff members.

Officials present at the event briefed the Deputy Chief Minister on the range of services provided at the canteen and the infrastructure set up for personnel stationed at the TGSPDCL facility. The administration has been actively promoting comparable canteen models to advance women-owned businesses and increase the availability of reasonably priced food options across government institutions.

Singareni CMD Jyoti Buddha Prakash, TGSPDCL Directors Chakrapani, Shivaji and Narasimha, and several other senior officials were present during the visit.
