TPCC Chief Attributes NEET Paper Leak to RSS-Linked Elements, Raises Concerns Over Student Futures

Hyderabad: At a student gathering in Narayanaguda on Thursday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud levelled serious accusations regarding the NEET paper leak, asserting that individuals with ties to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) orchestrated the breach for monetary benefit.

The TPCC chief contended that the leak had imperilled the futures of around 22 lakh students and undermined the rigorous preparation and parental sacrifices invested in their education. Speaking as the chief guest at the "Chhatron Ki Goonj" student programme, held under the presidency of DCC chief Mota Rohit, Goud underscored the gravity of the situation.

Goud directed sharp criticism towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, stating that their inaction on the NEET irregularities had eroded public trust in the examination framework. He argued that such silence had diminished the confidence that students and parents place in the credibility of the examination system.

The Congress leader emphasised the imperative for greater openness and responsibility in how examinations are conducted. He maintained that the state and central authorities bear the obligation to shield the aspirations of students and preserve the sanctity of national-level tests.

Goud called upon the Central government to demonstrate genuine commitment to the nation's youth and their ambitions. He highlighted that the Congress party has consistently created avenues for younger generations to voice their perspectives and concerns.
