Karan Rao has been appointed Vice President of Content & Influencer Marketing, taking charge of Madison Loop and directing its transformation into Loop 2.0. This next iteration will blend creative human expertise with artificial intelligence-driven tools to deliver advanced content and influencer marketing solutions. Operating from the Mumbai headquarters, Rao will work under the supervision of Vivek Das, the agency's Chief Digital Officer.

Rao brings 15 years of professional experience in content development, brand communication and digital strategy. Most recently, he served as Co-founder of LeapX, a technology-enabled marketing and content platform designed to amplify storytelling capabilities through algorithmic and data-driven approaches. Previously, he managed content operations for The Coca-Cola Company's StudioX division across India and the South-West Asian region, where he developed integrated content frameworks serving multiple markets. His background also includes positions within WPP-affiliated agencies, and his work has received recognition at major industry events including Cannes Lions, Global SABRE Awards and EMVIES Awards.

Dinesh Rathod, who has successfully managed Madison Media's southern operations for more than ten years, is transitioning to lead the agency's Sports division. His expanded mandate will focus on developing and strengthening the sports marketing business, with particular emphasis on cricket, emerging sporting disciplines, live event management and commercial partnerships. Rathod will work to establish competitive advantages and develop customized solutions for clients across the organization's sports portfolio.

Ajit Varghese, Partner and Group Chief Executive Officer at Madison Media, commented on the restructuring: "These appointments represent a deliberate approach to positioning Madison for sustained success. Contemporary clients require integrated solutions that function seamlessly across content channels, digital platforms, content creators and commercial opportunities. Through this leadership team, we are combining deep industry expertise with contemporary perspectives to deliver integrated services at enterprise scale."

Bhatnagar stated regarding his new position: "The sector is transitioning from service-driven relationships toward partnerships centered on measurable business outcomes. As I lead the southern region, my priorities are strengthening client partnerships, building high-performing teams and delivering quantifiable results. I am enthusiastic about driving this growth phase."

Rao expressed his perspective on joining: "Cultural trends shape content creation at rapid velocity, and the influencer and creator sector has fundamentally transformed brand engagement strategies. Madison's vision for Loop 2 resonated with me deeply. I am committed to developing meaningful initiatives and producing content that genuinely resonates with audiences."

Rathod commented on his new responsibilities: "Sports represents an extraordinary platform for brands to cultivate emotionally-driven customer relationships. I am energized by the opportunity to develop Madison Media's Sports division and establish forward-thinking partnerships, technical capabilities and customer experiences that generate value across both traditional and emerging sports markets."
