Hyderabad: Telangana's Minister for Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy travelled to Miryalguda on Tuesday to pay respects to the mortal remains of senior journalist Maraboyina Madhusudan, who died of sudden cardiac arrest. The minister announced immediate financial assistance of ₹5 lakh to the deceased's family.

Madhusudan, who previously served as the Deputy Chief Minister's Chief Press Relations Officer, was remembered by Komatireddy as a dedicated and conscientious professional. The minister highlighted his distinguished contributions across both journalism and government service.

Speaking at the tribute, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy shared his personal connection with Madhusudan, noting that the sudden loss had affected him deeply. He offered prayers for the journalist's eternal peace and extended his sympathies to the grieving family members.

As part of the announced relief package, the minister personally handed over ₹5 lakh as immediate support to the family and pledged ongoing assistance in the coming period.

The gathering in Miryalguda drew considerable participation from political and media circles. Attendees included leaders Vemula Veeresham, Bathula Laxma Reddy, and Shankar Naik, alongside Venugopal Reddy, senior journalists, and various local dignitaries. The substantial turnout underscored the esteem in which Madhusudan was held across journalism and public administration sectors.
