KTR to be Chief Guest at Telangana Formation Day Celebration in Kuala Lumpur

K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has confirmed his attendance as the chief guest at the Telangana Formation Day celebrations being organised by the party's Malaysia chapter. The event will take place on June 6, 2026, at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

A delegation headed by BRS NRI Global Coordinator Mahesh Bigala formally extended the invitation to KTR. The meeting also included participation from BRS Malaysia representatives Maruthi Kurma, Chitti Babu, Sridhar, and Priya, along with BRS leaders L. Ramana and G. Kishore.

According to the Malaysia unit of the BRS, the organisers are preparing extensive arrangements for the celebration. The event is anticipated to draw considerable participation from members of the Telangana and Telugu diaspora across Malaysia, bringing together the community to commemorate the state's formation.

BRS Malaysia leaders emphasised that the programme aims to celebrate Telangana's establishment while fostering stronger ties among overseas Telangana communities. The celebration is being planned to reflect the pride and enthusiasm of the diaspora population in Malaysia.
