KPHB Police Crack Servant Theft Case, Recover Gold Biscuit

Hyderabad authorities have successfully resolved a theft case involving domestic workers who made off with valuables from a residence in Indu Fortune Fields, KPHB Colony.

The incident came to light after the homeowner's wife left an almirah unsecured on May 19. Two housemaids, Konala Ramya and her younger sister Karri Nagalaxmi, spotted the open storage unit and allegedly took a 24-carat gold biscuit weighing 100 grams along with Rs. 1 lakh in cash.

Upon receiving a complaint, KPHB Police initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter. The probe culminated in the arrest of both accused on June 30. Officers recovered the stolen 100-gram gold biscuit in full condition during the operation. The cash, however, had been spent by the time of the arrests, police confirmed.

The investigation was overseen by senior police officials, with the KPHB Crime Team executing the operation. The case was formally registered at KPHB Police Station. Authorities indicated that personnel instrumental in cracking the case would receive appropriate recognition for their efforts.
