Komatireddy Inaugurates Foundation Stone for Venkateswara Temple in Nalgonda

Telangana's Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy inaugurated the foundation stone ceremony for a new Venkateswara Temple at Padmavathi Nagar Colony Park in the 41st division of Nalgonda on Wednesday.

Speaking at the event, the Minister emphasized that temple construction plays a vital role in fostering social cohesion and creating an atmosphere of peace within communities. He characterized the project as a significant and auspicious undertaking for the locality.

The proposed shrine will be dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, whom devotees regard as the supreme deity of the current age. According to the Minister, the temple will cater to the spiritual aspirations of local residents.

Addressing Accessibility Concerns

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy noted that while devotees from across the globe make pilgrimages to the renowned Tirumala temple, establishing a local place of worship would eliminate the need for lengthy travels. The new temple in Nalgonda will offer residents convenient access to spiritual practices and provide comfort to the community without requiring extended journeys.

Development and Investment

The Minister highlighted ongoing infrastructure improvements in the area, noting that developmental works valued at ₹70 lakh are currently progressing steadily within the park premises. The temple project itself carries an estimated budget of ₹2 crore, and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy pledged the government's continued commitment to supporting the initiative.

He reiterated that the comprehensive development of Nalgonda remains a key priority for his administration. The Minister also commended the Mayor's efforts in promoting environmental conservation through greenery initiatives and tree-planting programs across various wards.

According to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, authorities are preparing to undertake extensive development activities throughout the town to enhance civic infrastructure and public amenities.
