A meritorious student from Boduppal has received crucial assistance from the Telangana government after her struggles to access educational certificates threatened to derail her academic progression.

Bhavitha, who achieved 582 marks out of 600 in her SSC examinations and topped her school, subsequently secured State Rank 634 in the POLYCET entrance examination. Despite these academic accomplishments, her family's financial constraints left pending school fee obligations unpaid, prompting the institution to withhold her certificates.

Facing a looming deadline for POLYCET certificate verification, the student turned to social media to publicize her predicament. Her video appeal reached Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday morning. The minister promptly directed his team to investigate the situation and contacted the school administration, requesting that her certificates be delivered to his residence.

During a subsequent meeting with Bhavitha, the minister gained insight into her family's economic difficulties and reviewed her academic trajectory. She outlined her educational aspirations, which include completing a diploma programme before pursuing engineering studies.

Recognizing her exceptional academic record and resolve, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy settled the outstanding school fee arrears totalling ₹60,000 and arranged for the immediate release of her certificates. He additionally allocated ₹20,000 in direct financial assistance to address her immediate educational needs and pledged ongoing support throughout her higher education journey.

The minister ensured that her POLYCET certificate verification would proceed without further delay. In his remarks, he emphasized that talented students ought not forfeit educational prospects due to economic hardship, and appealed to society to extend assistance to meritorious individuals confronting adversity.

Bhavitha and her family expressed gratitude for the intervention, acknowledging that the minister's support had restored their ability to pursue her academic ambitions.
