KLH Bachupally Receives Institutional Excellence Award for Community Service Initiatives

Hyderabad's KLH Bachupally Campus has received the Institutional Excellence Award from the Shri P. V. Narasimha Rao Memorial Charitable Trust in recognition of its sustained commitment to social service and community development initiatives.
The Telangana Governor, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, presented the award during a special felicitation event, honouring the campus's track record in community engagement and humanitarian work.
The institution has established itself as a prominent contributor to Hyderabad's social landscape, particularly through its extensive blood donation programme. The campus regularly organises blood donation drives that have served thousands of patients throughout the region. In addition to these efforts, KLH Bachupally conducts health awareness campaigns, environmental initiatives, cleanliness drives, and educational outreach programmes. The National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers at the campus also spearhead multiple community service activities aimed at fostering social responsibility among students.
Speaking about the recognition, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, emphasised the institution's philosophy: "At our campus, education extends beyond classrooms. We strongly believe that nurturing socially responsible individuals is as important as academic excellence. This recognition inspires us to further strengthen our commitment to serving society through meaningful community engagement and volunteerism."
The award reflects the collaborative efforts of the university's administrative team, faculty, student body, and NSS volunteers, along with the leadership of Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal of KLH Bachupally Campus. The honour underscores the institution's vision of developing professionals who blend technical expertise with ethical values, leadership abilities, and a genuine commitment to social welfare.
