Minister Seethakka Pledges Government Support for Khammam Assault Survivor

Minister Seethakka made a visit to NIMS Hospital on Wednesday to meet with the family of a Khammam assault survivor who had recently undergone surgery. Accompanying the minister was Justice Panchakshari, Member Secretary of the Telangana Legal Services Authority.

During their hospital visit, both officials consulted with the medical team treating the girl. The attending physicians provided updates on the surgical procedure and the patient's current post-operative status. Medical staff confirmed that the survivor remains under continuous observation and is receiving appropriate care.

Seethakka spent time with the victim's parents, offering words of encouragement and reassurance about the government's commitment to their daughter's recovery. The minister stressed that state authorities would ensure access to the best available medical facilities and pledged that the government would remain engaged throughout the treatment and rehabilitation process.

As a tangible expression of support, Seethakka and Justice Panchakshari presented the family with a cheque for Rs 5 lakh from the Telangana government. The minister outlined a comprehensive package of assistance, stating that the government would prioritise the girl's medical care, rehabilitation, and overall welfare.

Seethakka reiterated her commitment to providing both financial and legal assistance to the family as needed. She conveyed confidence that with proper care and support, the survivor would make a full recovery and return to her normal life. The hospital's medical team continues to monitor the patient's progress following the procedure.
