BRS Launches Digital Membership Drive Across Telangana Constituencies

Hyderabad: In a significant organisational move, BRS president and former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has designated in-charges for every one of Telangana's 119 Assembly constituencies to spearhead the party's digital membership initiative.

The announcement came on Thursday as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi outlined its membership registration and renewal strategy. The party indicated that Telangana Bhavan will serve as the venue for digital training programmes involving constituency coordinators and an IT specialist representing each Assembly segment.

Party officials disclosed that the digital platform for membership registration has entered its final development phase, with a launch expected in the near term.

A structured rollout is planned, beginning with state-level training followed by district-level camps supervised by general secretaries and the appointed constituency in-charges. The BRS will conduct week-long training programmes across all Assembly constituencies throughout Telangana.

Two representatives from each polling booth will be selected to attend these training sessions. The party has committed to providing meals and lodging for all programme participants.

The actual membership enrollment date will be announced only after the training phase concludes. Top party figures, including Chandrashekar Rao himself, are expected to take part in the membership drive.

Following the completion of the enrollment process, the party plans to announce timelines for committee elections spanning from village-level bodies up to the state level. Subsequent to this, the BRS will organise additional training camps throughout Telangana.

Party leadership has framed the initiative as a critical step toward reinforcing the party's internal structure in preparation for upcoming political endeavours.
