Over 1,000 Telangana Youth Land Jobs at Kaushal Mahotsav Recruitment Drive

Hyderabad: A significant recruitment initiative has delivered positive outcomes for thousands of young professionals seeking employment in Telangana. The Kaushal Mahotsav – Warangal 2026 concluded with more than 1,000 successful job placements, marking a substantial achievement in connecting skilled workers with employers across the state.

Organised jointly by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the Telangana Government, and the National Skill Development Corporation, the event took place at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science in Warangal. The scale of participation underscored the growing need for trained personnel in the job market.

The recruitment drive drew considerable interest from the talent pool, with 4,500 candidates registering for participation. Of these, over 2,200 individuals attended the on-the-spot recruitment sessions held during the event. The participating companies extended job offers to approximately 50 percent of those who went through the interview process, demonstrating robust hiring appetite among employers.

The recruitment opportunities spanned diverse industry sectors. More than 90 companies participated, recruiting across manufacturing, automotive, logistics, textiles, retail, healthcare, information technology, telecommunications, tourism, hospitality, and banking and financial services. Candidates who did not secure positions during the event remain eligible for consideration as participating employers continue their recruitment cycles.

"The enthusiastic response demonstrates the substantial market demand for skilled workers," remarked V.S. Arvind, Director at the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. He emphasised that the initiative reflects the government's commitment to bridging the gap between capable youth and quality career prospects.

Prominent corporations featured among the participating employers, including Prompt Personnel, ParadigmIT Technology Services, Sitaram Spinners, Royal Enfield dealerships, KAPSTON Services, Cream Stone, Jayabheri Automotives, Blink Commerce, and Varun Motors. Beyond domestic opportunities, the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited facilitated access to more than 200 international employment positions for qualifying candidates, broadening the scope of available placements.

The event also prioritised awareness and information dissemination regarding skill enhancement pathways. Participants learned about apprenticeship schemes and various government-backed skill development programmes, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme, and the Skill India Digital platform.

Organisers characterised the Warangal edition as a pivotal contribution to building a robust workforce in Telangana while advancing the broader national objective of "Viksit Bharat @2047" through sustained focus on employment generation and professional development.
