Karnataka Kshatriya Maratha Parishath Marks International Yoga Day with Wellness Initiative

Bengaluru witnessed a significant community health initiative as the Karnataka Kshatriya Maratha Parishath(R) commemorated International Yoga Day with an extensive wellness programme designed to enhance public health awareness and support life-saving medical services.
The event brought together the organization's leadership, including State President S. Suresh Rao Sathe, Governing Council Chairman SR Sindhya, Treasurer T.R Venkat Rao Chavan, and committee members, to deliver a multifaceted health-focused day.
Participants engaged in guided yoga sessions aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being. The programme also incorporated a free eye examination camp conducted in partnership with Shraddha Eye Care Trust, providing vision screening and health consultations to attendees. Additionally, a voluntary blood donation drive was organized in collaboration with Lions Blood Centre, enabling community members to contribute to the blood bank's reserves for medical emergencies and patient care needs.
The convergence of these initiatives reflected the organization's commitment to advancing community wellness through preventive health measures and direct contribution to healthcare infrastructure.
