Hyderabad — Telangana's Tourism, Culture and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao has registered his census details through the digital portal from his residence in Kollapur, demonstrating participation from the state cabinet in the ongoing enumeration drive.

The minister completed the self-enumeration process by submitting his information via the online platform as part of the nationwide census exercise.

During remarks on the occasion, Jupally Krishna Rao stressed that census data serves as a critical foundation for formulating development strategies and designing welfare programmes at both state and national levels. He appealed to the public to engage with the exercise in a spirit of civic responsibility.

The minister emphasized the advantages of the digital registration system, noting that it streamlines the data collection process while reducing the time required from participants. He encouraged citizens to complete their registrations without delay to ensure the programme's success.

Jupally Krishna Rao also made a special appeal to educated citizens and young people to take on advocacy roles. He urged them to help facilitate the census process for community members who may lack familiarity with digital platforms, ensuring inclusive participation across all segments of society.
