John Abraham Becomes Co-Owner of Rotterdam Dockers for Inaugural European T20 Premier League

Bollywood star and sports entrepreneur John Abraham has taken on a co-ownership stake in Rotterdam Dockers, one of six franchise teams set to compete in the maiden edition of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL) this summer.

The ETPL will unfold from August 26 through September 20, 2026, bringing cricket to six European cities: Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, and Rotterdam. The tournament will comprise 32 matches, positioning itself as a significant platform for both emerging European cricketers and established international players.

Abraham joins a prestigious ownership structure that includes cricket luminaries Jonty Rhodes, Faf du Plessis, and Heinrich Klaasen, alongside Managing Partner Madhukar Shree. The franchise leadership represents a fusion of cricketing pedigree and entrepreneurial vision.
