JK Lakshmipat University Brings Together Rajasthan's Young Athletes for Ballers & Spikers Tournament

Jaipur, May 2026: JK Lakshmipat University recently wrapped up its Ballers & Spikers Cup, a competitive inter-school tournament showcasing basketball and volleyball talent from across Rajasthan. The three-day event on the university campus featured students from Classes 9 through 12, bringing together young athletes in a spirited display of competitive sport and athletic camaraderie.

The tournament drew substantial participation, with 18 basketball squads and 21 volleyball teams taking to the courts. Matches throughout the event demonstrated high levels of intensity, coordination among teammates, and strong sporting conduct from all competitors.

On the volleyball court, Fellowship Mission School secured first place honours, with Defence Public School finishing in second position. The basketball competition saw Vivek Techno School emerge victorious, while Gyan Ashram School took the runner-up spot.

The event concluded with recognition of the top-performing teams. The total prize distribution reached ₹36,000, with championship-winning teams in each category receiving ₹11,000 and runners-up earning ₹7,000.

Deepak Sogani, Head of Student Affairs at JK Lakshmipat University, highlighted the tournament's significance.
