Jai Raj Ispat Launches Major Tree-Planting Initiative in Hyderabad

April 28, 2026

Hyderabad — Steel manufacturer Jai Raj Ispat Limited has completed a significant afforestation project on its plant grounds, demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship through corporate social responsibility efforts.

The company planted roughly 400 saplings across 15,000 square metres of its facility premises. The initiative focused on species selected for their environmental benefits, including Mango, Neem, Badam, and Gulmohar trees. All saplings were sourced from the company's own in-house nursery, and the company plans to undertake a follow-up plantation drive in June 2026.

The project aims to expand the green footprint surrounding industrial operations while supporting broader environmental objectives. By increasing tree cover, the company seeks to enhance local biodiversity, boost air quality, and foster environmental consciousness in the surrounding area.

"Environmental responsibility forms a fundamental part of our operational philosophy and growth strategy," said Siddharth Jain, Executive Director at Jai Raj Ispat Limited. "This plantation drive demonstrates our ongoing commitment to expanding green cover near our facility and making a constructive contribution to the local ecosystem. Such efforts enable us to pursue development in a more accountable and harmonious manner. We are dedicated to sustaining these initiatives as part of our broader vision for responsible expansion and ecological stewardship, ensuring our business generates positive outcomes for both the natural environment and local communities."

Director Rajshree Jain added that the initiative reflects the company's practical dedication to ecological preservation. "By increasing vegetation within our plant area, we are fostering a more vibrant and balanced natural environment around our operations," she stated. "We recognise that sustained, incremental efforts produce meaningful long-term results, and we remain committed to backing programmes that promote sustainable practices and conscientious development for the benefit of both current and future community members."

The plantation drive exemplifies how the company seeks to balance commercial expansion with environmental protection and community engagement.
