ISB Executive Education Unveils New CTO Programme Tailored for India's Technology Leaders
As India establishes itself as a global hub for digital innovation, the responsibilities of technology leaders are shifting fundamentally. The role of Chief Technology Officer is no longer confined to managing technology delivery but has expanded to encompassing business value creation and strategic growth.
This transformation is reflected in industry research. McKinsey's findings show that technology leaders are increasingly embedded within enterprise strategy functions. A Deloitte study found that 80% of technology executives report their roles have expanded to directly influence organisational growth. Meanwhile, Gartner research indicates that CEOs now expect technology investments to demonstrably translate into measurable business outcomes.
Recognising this evolution, ISB Executive Education has launched the next cohort of its Chief Technology Officer Programme in partnership with Emeritus. The initiative aims to equip India's senior technology professionals with the strategic and business acumen needed to navigate this changing landscape.
The programme draws on business-led frameworks and emphasises four key areas: strategy and financial acumen, digital transformation at scale, organisational design and leadership, and real-world case studies drawn from industry experience.
ISB Executive Education, which holds the #1 ranking in India according to the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2025, brings together renowned faculty members and a network of peer professionals to deliver the curriculum. The institution also ranks #1 in Asia and #23 globally in FT Custom Rankings 2025, and #6 in Asia in FT Open 2025.
The programme is designed for Chief Technology Officers, Vice Presidents of Technology, and Directors who possess at least 10 years of professional experience and are transitioning into broader C-suite roles. Participants will develop the confidence and frameworks necessary to make boardroom-level decisions that connect technology initiatives to growth opportunities, risk management, and competitive advantage.
Programme Details:
The Chief Technology Officer Programme commences on June 30, 2026, and runs for 24 weeks in a fully online format. Eligibility requires applicants to hold a graduate or diploma qualification and have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in technology or related fields.
