Ingram Micro Marks Three Decades in India with Nationwide Partner Outreach Drive

Ingram Micro India, a prominent technology distribution platform, commemorated three decades of business operations in the country by rolling out Partner 1st Connect—an ambitious, coordinated engagement programme spanning the nation. The two-day initiative saw more than 500 Ingram Micro team members visit channel partner offices in over 30 cities, connecting with approximately 900 partners.
Rather than opting for traditional anniversary festivities, the company chose to reinforce its partner-centric philosophy by bringing representatives directly to partner locations. The meetings served as forums for substantive dialogue, with discussions centring on gathering partner input, identifying digital transformation priorities, deepening working relationships, and identifying growth opportunities within India's evolving technology sector.
The Partner 1st Connect drive embodies Ingram Micro's philosophy that a robust channel network depends fundamentally on mutual trust, joint effort, and aligned objectives for expansion. Flavio Moraes Junior, Managing Director and Chief Channel Executive at Ingram Micro India, expressed satisfaction with the programme's execution. "The dedication shown by our team over these two days has been remarkable," he said. "From conception to execution, they demonstrated exceptional commitment in reaching over 900 partners across India. This extensive engagement reflects our deep commitment to placing partners first."
The meetings between channel partners and company representatives concentrated on reviewing business objectives, examining technology-driven offerings, and identifying approaches to enhance partner digital capabilities. Flavio elaborated on the strategic importance of the partner-first approach: "Partner 1st Connect represents an investment in our collective future, creating fresh possibilities for mutual success. Our channel partners have been fundamental to our growth trajectory in India, and their insights, confidence, and partnership will guide our strategic direction and partner programmes going forward. As an ecosystem, we remain committed to developing a stronger, more transparent, and resilient information and communications technology sector in India."
The scope, pace, and commitment demonstrated through this initiative underline Ingram Micro's dedication to fortifying the channel ecosystem and equipping partners with the technological proficiency and resources needed to compete effectively in today's digital landscape. Looking ahead, Moraes outlined the company's priorities: "We are committed to sustaining this engagement momentum as we incorporate partner feedback and formulate an ambitious, results-oriented growth roadmap in partnership with our valued channel partners."
