Indri Adopts IMWA Certification Hologram to Authenticate Indian Single Malt Whisky

NEW DELHI – As Indian Single Malts gain recognition for their quality on the world stage, Indri has rolled out the Indian Malt Whisky Association (IMWA) Certification Hologram on its bottles, signalling its dedication to upholding authenticity and craft standards aligned with international practices.

The hologram serves as a mark of legitimacy for consumers, trade partners and whisky aficionados across the globe, confirming that production adheres to the rigorous specifications established by the Indian Malt Whisky Association. The move is intended to reinforce trust among buyers and maintain the credibility of India's burgeoning premium spirits sector.

To qualify as an authentic Indian Single Malt Whisky under IMWA standards, production must rely exclusively on malted barley sourced from a single distillery and distilled in copper pot stills. The spirit must be composed solely of malted barley, water and yeast, then aged for no fewer than three years in oak casks with a maximum capacity of 700 litres. These requirements ensure transparency and guarantee that consumers experience a genuine product rooted in heritage and skilled production.
