The corporate social responsibility wing of ICCPL Group recently conducted a birthday celebration programme at Parkshala, located in Sector 44 of Noida, honouring children who turned a year older during April. The event was organized as part of "Rahat With ICCPL", a three-year-old flagship initiative by ICCPL Foundation aimed at fostering meaningful engagement with vulnerable communities.

Rather than adopting a conventional approach focused solely on material distribution, the programme incorporated a cake-cutting ritual and the provision of snack kits to ensure all attending children could actively participate in the festivities. The emphasis remained on nurturing emotional wellness and creating a genuine sense of community belonging, transforming what might otherwise be a routine celebration into something deeply resonant for the participants.

Ambika Saxena, Chief Executive Officer of ICCPL Foundation, reflected on the significance of the intervention: "At ICCPL Foundation, our work transcends merely providing assistance; it centres on arriving with genuine compassion and crafting instances that hold real value. Through 'Rahat With ICCPL', we endeavour to transcend the ordinary and construct experiences that deliver joy, respect, and community connection to each child we interact with. The birthday observance here was not a spectacular undertaking, but it was sincere, and that authenticity is where its true significance emerges. When you witness the delight on children's faces, hear their collective laughter, and observe their sense of inclusion, you understand that substantive change flows from these interpersonal bonds and the authentic moments we build collectively."

Since its launch, the "Rahat With ICCPL" initiative has undertaken numerous socially-oriented programmes with a particular emphasis on educational advancement. The Foundation's work aligns with government-backed schemes including Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Padhega India, Badhega India. In pursuit of these objectives, ICCPL Foundation has collaborated with the Street to School programme, facilitated by Apnelog NGO, providing learning materials to students and facilitating their sustained educational progress. The organization has additionally executed a winter blanket distribution scheme serving unhoused populations and launched a Menstrual Hygiene for All campaign, both underscoring its dedication to human dignity, compassionate care, and community-centred assistance.

The Foundation maintains its trajectory of advancing empathy-centred community work and generating sustainable social transformation through persistent, deliberate collaboration with the communities it serves.
