Hyderabad: A fresh round of postings has brought several Indian Administrative Service officers into key roles spanning the Telangana Secretariat and district offices, reflecting ongoing administrative restructuring within the state government.

On Sunday, G. Mukunda Reddy stepped into the position of Special Secretary for Information and Public Relations at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat. In a parallel development, M. Dana Kishore assumed the role of Special Chief Secretary overseeing the Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Rural Water Supply portfolios.

According to officials, Dana Kishore will concurrently maintain additional responsibilities as Special Chief Secretary to the Governor. Separately, Harichandana Dasari took up the position of Secretary to the Government in charge of the Labour, Employment, Training and Factories department at the Secretariat.

The administrative changes extended to district-level appointments as well. Priyanka Ala has assumed office as the Hyderabad District Collector, stepping into a role vacated by Harichandana Dasari following the latter's transfer to state headquarters. Government sources characterised the move as part of standard administrative reorganisation procedures.

In the Mulugu district, Bhorkade Hemant Sahadeva Rao has taken charge as the new District Collector at the district collectorate.

Officials noted that these postings represent a deliberate effort to reinforce administrative capability and sustain effective functioning across essential departments and district offices throughout Telangana.
