HP Launches HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Edition Gaming Laptop in India

NEW DELHI — HP has unveiled the HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Limited Edition laptop in India, a device developed jointly with Riot Games to deliver high-performance computing paired with aesthetics inspired by the competitive gaming phenomenon VALORANT.

The partnership represents an expansion of HP's existing collaboration with Riot Games, bringing together cutting-edge hardware and design language drawn from the popular tactical shooter. The laptop targets competitive players seeking machines that combine raw performance with visual identity rooted in the VALORANT universe.

According to Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India, the company prioritises creating products that resonate with gaming communities beyond mere technical specifications. "Our collaboration with Riot Games for the HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Limited Edition brings together performance, personalization and iconic VALORANT-inspired design in a way that truly reflects the spirit of competitive gaming. We are excited to bring this exclusive experience to gaming fans and players across India," Gehani stated.

Ivory Jones, Senior Director of Global Consumer Products at Riot Games, highlighted how the device extends the VALORANT experience beyond gameplay. "VALORANT uniquely blends precision performance with bold, unmistakable style, and that philosophy is reflected in every detail of this collaboration with HP. Building on an already incredibly valuable partnership, this latest creation from the Riot and HP team unlocks a new way for players to experience VALORANT beyond the game itself," Jones said.

The HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Limited Edition incorporates custom design elements, hidden Easter eggs throughout the chassis, and performance-focused features aimed at competitive players. The machine features up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor with 16 cores and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics with 8GB VRAM to ensure smooth gameplay.

The keyboard utilises HyperAction technology with an 8,000Hz polling rate for rapid input responsiveness. Display options reach 2.5K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and 3-millisecond response time, designed for the demanding visual requirements of competitive play.

The system includes OMEN AI optimization, which automatically adjusts system, hardware, and game settings with a single click. This intelligent tuning adapts the laptop's performance across different titles, including VALORANT, to maintain competitive responsiveness.
