Hyderabad Traffic Police Announce Restrictions for Bibi-ka-Alam Procession

Hyderabad's traffic authorities have released guidelines ahead of the Bibi-ka-Alam procession, outlining traffic curbs and route diversions set to affect multiple areas across the city on June 26. Residents and commuters are being advised to arrange their travel schedules ahead of time and adhere to directions from law enforcement to minimize disruptions.

The traffic restrictions will be active between 12 pm and 10 pm as part of arrangements for the Muharram procession, which will proceed from Bibi-ka-Alawa in Hyderabad. Police will oversee the movement of vehicles along the procession path and at nearby intersections to maintain order.

The Traffic Police have called on drivers to work cooperatively with authorities, observe signage indicating alternate routes, and make use of alternative pathways where applicable to maintain steady traffic movement during the religious event.

Temporary traffic management measures have been put in place to enable the Bibi-ka-Alam procession to proceed safely while reducing traffic congestion in the impacted zones, according to the police department.

The authorities have requested that travelers set aside additional time for their journeys, keep track of updated traffic notices, and comply with instructions provided by traffic officers stationed during the procession.
