Hyderabad's traffic management authorities have put in place comprehensive diversions spanning the Maitrivanam Junction and Ameerpet areas ahead of the NTR statue inauguration scheduled for May 28.

The city's traffic police have mandated that diversions commence at 10 pm on May 27, extending through 11 pm on May 28. These measures are being implemented to facilitate VIP movements and accommodate anticipated public gatherings at the venue.

Commuters heading from Ameerpet, Satyam Theatre, and SR Nagar towards Jubilee Hills Check Post via Yousufguda will be redirected through Vengalrao Nagar, Kalyan Nagar Junction, and Krishna Kanth Park. Additionally, vehicles traveling from Satyam Theatre to Jubilee Hills Check Post have been advised to use the Ameerpet and Panjagutta corridor instead.

On May 28 itself, between 2 pm and 11 pm, traffic originating from Yousufguda Checkpost and Rahamath Nagar heading towards Maitrivanam will be diverted via Krishna Kanth Park and SR Nagar. Traffic from the bylanes situated between Yousufguda Basti and Al-Saba Hotel will be channeled towards Vengalrao Nagar and Ameerpet.

The traffic police have urged residents to adjust their travel schedules accordingly and extend full cooperation to officials managing the diversions during the event. For real-time traffic updates and assistance, commuters can reach the Hyderabad Traffic helpline at 9010203626.
