Authorities in Hyderabad have cracked down on an illegal steroid distribution operation, resulting in the arrest of six individuals and the seizure of contraband materials valued at Rs. 6.5 lakh.

The Commissioner's Task Force operating in the Secunderabad Zone, working alongside Musheerabad police, conducted the enforcement action that led to the recovery of a substantial cache of banned pharmaceutical substances. The seized items include 440 vials of Termin (Neon), 336 vials of Mephentermine Sulphate Injection, testosterone injections, somatropin, drostanolone injections, amino acid supplements totalling 336 tablets, two mobile phones, and related incriminating materials.

According to law enforcement officials, the operation targeted a supply network centred on two primary suspects: Batte Shiva, who operates as an online gym trainer, and Mohammed Furqanuddin Faisal. The two men allegedly sourced steroid injections from suppliers operating across Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, then channelled these substances through a network of local dealers for profit. The banned injections were being marketed to fitness enthusiasts seeking accelerated muscle development, with transactions occurring entirely outside the framework of legitimate medical oversight and prescriptions.

Police have identified two additional suppliers based in other states who remain at large, and search operations have been initiated to apprehend them. The authorities have filed formal charges at Musheerabad Police Station under the applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Investigative teams are continuing their inquiry to map the full extent of the illegal distribution network and identify other individuals involved in the operation across Hyderabad.
