Hyderabad Traffic Police Inaugurate Road Safety Summer Camp for Young Students

Hyderabad's Traffic Police have opened a Road Safety Summer Camp at the Traffic Training Institute, welcoming children aged 10 to 15 years to participate in the initiative.
The inaugural session took place on May 11, with Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) D Joel Davis presiding as chief guest. Approximately 100 children have enrolled in the programme.
The camp curriculum encompasses traffic awareness, road safety protocols, basic life support training, and fire safety education. Beyond these core safety modules, the schedule also incorporates personality development workshops, dance, music, painting, and handwriting improvement classes.
Police officials emphasize that the camp serves as a platform to educate young minds about road safety practices and contribute to reducing accident-related fatalities in the city.
During his address to the participants, D Joel Davis motivated the children to pursue their aspirations and develop into conscientious members of society. He called upon them to assume the role of "Traffic Ambassadors," leveraging their position to educate their parents, peers, and extended family members about the importance of road safety.
The programme was attended by DCP Traffic-II Kajal Singh, Shishir Chathurvedi, Saroj Bala, Ananth Raj, and other instructors.
