Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar presided over a coordination session on Wednesday aimed at preparing comprehensive law and order measures for the Bakrid celebrations. The meeting, held at the TGICCC facility in Banjara Hills, brought together senior police officials and representatives from multiple cow protection organizations.

The gathering focused on establishing coordination frameworks between police departments and civic organizations to prevent communal disturbances during the festival period. Multiple wings of the police force participated in the review, including senior leadership and zonal officials.

Among the attendees were Additional Commissioners of Police Tafseer Iqbal and M. Srinivasulu, Joint Commissioner N. Shwetha, and Deputy Commissioners from various zones across the city.

Several organizations sent representatives to participate in the discussions. These included Kolisetty Sivakumar from Yuga Tulsi Foundation, Riddesh Jagidar representing Love for Cow Foundation, and Jasraj Srisremal from Bharatiya Prani Mitra Sangh. The gathering also included Murali Manohar Palod, president of Govats Foundation; Deepak Singh from Gorakshak Dal; A. Balakrishna of Akhil Bharatiya Goseva Foundation; Srikanth representing Bajrang Dal; and B. Narasimha Murthy from VHP.

During the session, participants examined precautionary protocols and mechanisms for inter-agency cooperation. Police officials outlined specific security and enforcement strategies designed to facilitate orderly Bakrid observances throughout the metropolitan area.
