Hyderabad DCC President Calls on Haj Pilgrims to Seek Peace and Unity for India

Hyderabad: At Haj House in Hyderabad, Syed Khalid Saifullah, President of the Hyderabad Darul Qaza Committee, addressed pilgrims preparing for their journey to perform the Haj. He extended his congratulations to the departing pilgrims, acknowledging them as individuals blessed with the opportunity to undertake the sacred pilgrimage.

Saifullah highlighted the exclusivity of this spiritual journey, noting that while approximately 200 crore Muslims exist worldwide, only between 20 to 25 lakh individuals receive the chance to perform Haj annually. He characterised the pilgrims as special guests of Allah, embarking on a voyage of profound spiritual significance.

Drawing on Islamic teachings, Saifullah emphasised the exceptional value of prayers offered within Masjid-e-Haram. He invoked a Hadith to explain that those who undertake the pilgrimage with sincere devotion return absolved of their sins, akin to a newborn child.

The DCC chief made a specific appeal to the pilgrims, urging them to remember India in their supplications while circumambulating the Kaaba, reciting Labbaik, and engaging in prayers at Arafat. "Pray that love remains alive in our country, hatred is defeated, and our children learn the language of love, not hatred," Saifullah stated.

He expressed concern about divisive forces within the nation, asserting that certain individuals were exploiting communal tensions and provocative conduct for political advantage. Saifullah called upon the pilgrims to petition for the weakening of those who propagate hatred and the strengthening of those who champion affection and understanding among communities.

Additionally, Saifullah requested that the pilgrims include Telangana and its people in their prayers throughout their pilgrimage.
