Hyderabad: In a departure from customary wedding practices, newlyweds Rakesh and Reethamshi reimagined their celebration by requesting guests to offer life wisdom and counsel rather than traditional presents.

The couple implemented their distinctive approach during their wedding ceremony on April 29, naming the initiative "Letter to Our Marriage." Drawing inspiration from the Telugu film Srinivasa Kalyanam, they sought to encourage attendees to contemplate the nature of marriage and relationships.

Postcard-style notes were distributed throughout the wedding venue, prompting guests to inscribe messages intended for the couple's future reference. Rather than ceremonial congratulations, attendees penned down lessons, principles, and insights they considered essential for couples to carry throughout their lives together.

The invitation at the venue encouraged guests to pause and document their thoughts—wisdom the newlyweds could revisit and treasure in the years ahead. Through this exercise, Rakesh and Reethamshi accumulated personal guidance and sentimental reflections that transcended typical wedding pleasantries.
