HMWSSB Issues Warning Over Fraudulent Recruitment Announcements

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has cautioned residents against misleading recruitment advertisements spreading across social media platforms, which falsely claim to represent "Hyderabad Water Supply Board, Telangana Recruitment 2026."

In a statement released Tuesday, the Board emphasized that no hiring initiative is currently active. The deceptive posts being shared online make unfounded assertions regarding extensive employment opportunities, compensation details, and qualification requirements.

The HMWSSB confirmed it has not released any recruitment notice. Any legitimate hiring efforts undertaken by the organisation will strictly adhere to established government procedures, either through the Telangana State Public Service Commission or other officially recognised recruitment bodies.

Legitimate job announcements from the organisation will be published exclusively on official government channels and the Water Board's own website. Recognised news outlets and media channels may also disseminate authentic notifications from authorised sources.

The Board has appealed to job seekers and the general public to exercise caution when encountering unconfirmed job postings or deceptive content on social networking sites. Citizens are urged to seek recruitment information exclusively through official channels to ensure they receive verified and legitimate details.
