Henkel Names Pradhyumna Ingle as Country President for India

Henkel has elevated Pradhyumna Ingle to the position of Country President for India, signalling the company's deepening commitment to what it considers one of its most dynamic and strategically vital markets. Operating from Navi Mumbai, Ingle will lead efforts to execute the company's expansion roadmap, enhance its competitive footprint, and spur innovation across the Indian operations. Simultaneously, he will retain his positions as Global Head of Infrastructure Protection & Repair and IMEA Head of Manufacturing & Maintenance at Henkel Adhesive Technologies.

The timing of this appointment reflects India's emergence as a global growth powerhouse. The nation's trajectory is being shaped by substantial infrastructure development programmes, rapid industrial expansion, and the emergence of a growing middle class with rising purchasing power—collectively creating fresh avenues for technological advancement and market penetration.

Ingle brings more than two and a half decades of management expertise accumulated across India, the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and the Middle East and Africa. His professional record demonstrates consistent success in scaling operations, establishing strong teams, orchestrating mergers and integrations, and building contemporary digital enterprises.

The new leader succeeds S. Sunil Kumar, who has guided Henkel's Indian business for the past five years. Kumar is transitioning to a broader assignment based in Dubai, where he will oversee strategic initiatives spanning the IMEA region alongside his existing portfolio as Director of Packaging for the same geography.

Ashraf Elafifi, President of Henkel's IMEA division, commented on the leadership transition: "India represents a crucial growth driver for our global operations. Ingle holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from Government Engineering College, Ujjain, and a postgraduate management qualification from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore.
