H-CITI Project Inspection Prioritizes Road Widening Initiative in Kondapur

Hyderabad's Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. G. Srijana led an on-site inspection of the H-CITI Project at Anjaiah Nagar in Kondapur, accompanied by Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi and a contingent of senior administrators including the Chief City Planner, Commissioner of Police, and Deputy Commissioner.

The review focused on evaluating progress toward the planned road widening scheme on Kondapur Main Road, one of the region's most heavily trafficked corridors. Officials examined the current status of land acquisition proceedings, which remain essential to launching the expansion works.

Dr. Srijana directed the Town Planning department to accelerate the land acquisition process and clear outstanding procedural requirements with urgency. The Commissioner also instructed all participating departments to coordinate efforts and treat the project as a priority initiative to minimize implementation delays.

The proposed road widening is expected to significantly enhance traffic flow and alleviate congestion that currently affects thousands of daily commuters traversing the corridor. Enhanced road infrastructure in the locality will facilitate smoother vehicle movement and bolster regional connectivity.

Officials discussed timelines for commencing the actual construction work and emphasized the importance of coordinated execution across departments. The Commissioner stressed that timely project completion remains critical to delivering the anticipated traffic relief benefits to residents and regular users of Kondapur Main Road.
