Vinsan Graphic Production, headquartered in Goa, has formally unveiled its newest Marathi film, Bandkhor, with a grand ceremonial launch attended by prominent dignitaries and industry figures. Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant served as the chief guest at the event and performed the traditional clap for the muhurat shot. The occasion also drew producer Sanjay Shetye, director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar, MLA and Vice-Chairperson of the Goa Entertainment Society Delilah Lobo, along with members of the cast and crew.

The film represents a significant milestone for Manjrekar, one of Indian cinema's most accomplished creative voices, as it marks his first partnership with a production house based in Goa. His involvement has generated considerable interest within regional film circles. The project explores themes of women's empowerment, with producer Shetye emphasizing its socially conscious approach. The narrative aims to awaken women to their inherent strength, dignity, and potential within a society that frequently undervalues their contributions.

The entire film will be shot across various locations throughout Goa, reinforcing the production's commitment to the state's film industry. Shetye noted that the project will create substantial employment for Goan talent, with local actors and technical personnel filling roles across multiple departments.

The ensemble cast includes established performers such as Priyadarshini Indalkar, Mrunal Kulkarni, Chhaya Kadam, Pooja Katurde, Titiksha Tawde, Raavi Kishor, Rupesh Kamat, Siddharth Bodke, Mangesh Desai, Mandar Jog, Neeti Kamat, Mohan Chandelkar, Siddhi Upadhye, Abhishek Mhalashi, Rohit Khandekar, and Pragya Rane. Manjrekar will also take on a special role in the film.

The story follows interconnected narratives of women from different backgrounds, exploring their personal struggles, ambitions, and unrealized hopes while examining the obstacles they face in striving for improved circumstances.

Vinsan Graphics has established itself as a respected contributor to regional cinema and cultural initiatives. The company previously produced the Konkani film Digant and the Marathi film SthalPuran, which gained international recognition as the sole film produced in Goa to secure selection for the Berlin Film Festival. Bandkhor represents the studio's third feature-length production.

Beyond film production, Vinsan Graphics has been instrumental in organizing the Goa Marathi Film Festival, which is preparing to mark its 15th anniversary this year. This festival reflects the company's broader dedication to fostering regional cinema within Goa.
