Government Committed to Family Prosperity Through Development and Welfare, Says Roads Minister

Hyderabad — The government is dedicated to bringing prosperity to every household through coordinated development and welfare initiatives, according to Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Speaking at Vasavi Matha Jayanti celebrations in Nalgonda on Sunday, the Minister served as chief guest at observances held at Ramakoti Stupa Temple in Beat Market and Gandhi Park. He noted that this marks the first official celebration of the Jayanti following the current government's formation, making it particularly significant.
The Minister outlined an ambitious development agenda, announcing that ₹500 crore has been earmarked for temple enhancements and related projects. The funds will support development of Basara and Kaleshwaram temples alongside preparations for Godavari Pushkarams.
Several long-standing commitments to Ramakoti Temple have now been fulfilled, the Minister stated. These include the allocation of 120 square yards of land for the temple and an additional 120 square yards designated for future expansion, along with construction of a Dhwajasthambam. A fruit market in front of the temple has also been established as promised.
Reconstruction efforts at Ramalayam are underway and are expected to reach the Uttar Dwara Darshan stage by the following year, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said.
During the celebrations, the Minister participated in Kumkumarchana and Abhishekam rituals conducted by the Arya Vysya community at Gandhi Park. He pledged comprehensive assistance for park infrastructure restoration and committed to resolving road access challenges once the DMHO office is relocated.
Within the next two months, the government plans to complete development work at Ramalayam, Anjaneya Swamy Temple, and the Shiva temple at Brahmangari Gutta, with an investment of ₹100 crore, the Minister announced.
Supporting the commercial sector remains a priority. The Minister confirmed that efforts to develop Prakasham Bazaar have already commenced, with additional measures planned to bolster local trading activities.
The Minister reiterated that achieving household prosperity continues to be the government's central objective, pursued through a comprehensive approach encompassing infrastructure improvements, religious development, and civic enhancements.
