Telangana Governor Pays Tribute to Medical Professionals on National Doctors' Day

Hyderabad — On National Doctors' Day, Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has recognised the invaluable contributions of the medical profession to society.

Observed annually on July 1, National Doctors' Day commemorates both the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, an eminent physician, independence advocate and former Chief Minister of West Bengal. The observance serves as a nationwide recognition of the commitment, skill and humanitarian values that define India's medical professionals.
