GHMC Chief Conducts Unannounced Review of Voter Registration Drive in Goshamahal

Hyderabad: On Monday, GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer R.V. Karnan undertook an unannounced visit to monitor Special Intensive Revision (SIR) activities across the Goshamahal Assembly constituency, focusing on the ongoing voter enumeration initiative.

The inspection was carried out at Polling Station No. 153, located in Ward No. 51 at Osmanshahi, Gowliguda, adjacent to the Old Bus Depot. During his visit, the Commissioner engaged with local residents and personally handed out SIR forms to voters participating in the registration exercise.

The Commissioner evaluated the pace of the enumeration work and examined how the Special Intensive Revision programme was being executed at the polling station level. Electoral Registration Officer Uma Prakash was present alongside Assistant Electoral Registration Officer Mahesh Kulkarni to facilitate the inspection.

Several officials joined the Commissioner during the visit, including AERO and In-charge ACP B. Mahender, Supervisor Balakrishna, and Booth Level Officer Arvind Kumar, ensuring comprehensive oversight of the voter registration activities.
